How to travel to Munnar

We travel from Chennai to Munnar for 4 days trip on 14th  December 2017. The nearest airport and railway station to reach Munnar would be Cochin which is about 120 kilometres away from where you can catch a bus or taxi to reach Munnar. We took a private bus that we have taken from Chennai started at 8:30 p.m. And reach Munnar all the next day around 10:15 A.M. Travel to Munnar by taxi can be a lot of fun the route goes to the western ghats in a mystic forest of the Annamalai tiger reserve and Chinnar wildlife sanctuary.

A comfortable vehicle and a trained driver are the most. We are finishing our breakfast at the place called Marayoor where the bus stopped at 7.30 am. From the bus stop, we took an auto to reach our Hotel which we have booked online. The Hotel people are kind enough to let us check in at 10:30 am itself. The room was quite convenient with the great view of the tea estate.
